E-Waste Drive to Benefit AHS Baseball Team

Arcadia High School Baseball in conjunction with the Environmental Club will be conducting an E-Waste collection fundraiser at Arcadia High School in the football stadium parking lot on Campus Drive on January 9, 2009 from 9 am to 1 pm. This is a perfect opportunity for our community members to get rid of the electronic items they replaced at Christmas with newer upgraded electronics and help the baseball team and environmental club at Arcadia High School at the same time.
With all the budget constraints on the schools, the baseball team is left to fund a majority of the program by raising $25,000 for field maintenance, baseballs and equipment, and assistant coaches. The environmental club conducts this fundraiser every year and decided to include the baseball team to help make it more successful! Please join in helping the students at Arcadia High School by donating your old computers, TVs, monitors, telephone and stereo equipment, etc.
