Fire Caused by Candles Guts Apt. Living Room

A fire caused by religious candles left unattended damaged an Arcadia apartment Friday afternoon.

At firefighters rushed to a single-story apartment at 819 Fairview Avenue.

Residents of the apartment managed to escape unharmed

Firefighters extinguished the fire, which was contained to the living room of the apartment, in about 15 minutes, fire officials said.
